How to install Ioncube and other installation information on specfic hosting companies

Aruba:
- Ioncube is not supported according to Ktools customers (1).
 
Blue Domino:
1. Log into the Control Panel with the account username and password. 
2. Click on CGI and Scripted Language Support under Scripting and Add-Ons. 
3. Click on PHP Scripting. 
4. Add the following line: 
zend_extension = /usr/local/lib/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_x.x.so
(Where x.x is the version of your php)
5. Click on the Save button
 
Bluehost:
- Configure using these settings.

Upload the file included in that package to your hosting account and run the page in your browser. **USE AT YOUR OWN RISK** that file was not created by us nor do we support it in any way. We have tested it once and it setup PHP with ioncube very well.
 
Glow Host:
- Must open a support ticket and request Ioncube support.
 
Godaddy:
- On PHP5 linux accounts, php.ini must be named php5.ini
 
HostGator:
Hostgator has ioncube on every server however when using a custom php.ini you must specify their loaders:
zend_extension="/usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so"
zend_extension_ts="/usr/local/IonCube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2_ts.so"
(Change 5.2 to the version of php you are running, and use either ts or non-ts depending on the PHP setup is threaded or non-threaded.)

This hosting requires a custom PHP session save path when you setup your site. You can insert your custom session save path into the stores session_include.php file.
 
IX Web Hosting / Host Excellence:
- Already installed by default. One time the php.ini had to be put in the cgi-bin directory.
-Things have changed on this hosting, now you have to setup ioncube using the cgi-bin directory. You can talk to IX and they will help set it up or you can see the following files.

Or create a file called .htaccess, and using a text editor put the above code lines in it, save changes, and upload it to the root of the store files.

Strato:
- We would not recommend you even use this hosting for photostore. If you absolutely must have your photostore on strato then here is a zip file we created with a couple files that may help you.

-When using stratos the store will seem to function normally but there is session issues so you will want to setup your own custom session save path. Open up the session_include.php file in your store and edit it to add this line to the top above the session_start() line:
session_save_path("/mnt/----full---path---to---your---site/htdocs/photostore/temp/");
(replay ----full---path---to---your---site with your actual path)

Web Hosting Pad:
- Already installed by default. If you use a local php.ini, ioncube will not work.
