Library > Digital Profiles [Edit View]

The edit digital profile area consist of several tabs to help you configure the profile the way you wish to sell it. We will cover those tabs and the settings under them now.

Details
Profile Type: Use the drop down to select what type of profile you are creating. Example if you wish to sell an additional size of a photo then select photo from the drop down box.
Digital Profile Name: This is the title of this profile you are creating.
Format / File Type: Enter in what the file extension will be on this profile type. Example jpg, avi, etc...
Width: Use this box to specify the resized width this media will be for this profile. Example if you are selling a photo that should be resized to 800px then put in 800 into the input box (DO NOT put px, inches, cm, or other forms of measurement into the box, just a number).
Height: Use this box to specify the resized height this media will be for this profile. Example if you are selling a photo that should be resized to 800px then put in 800 into the input box (DO NOT put px, inches, cm or other forms of measurement into the box, just a number).
Delivery Method: Use this to specify how to delivery this profile to the customer when it is purchased. The options are attach file, use this to manually attach a file to be downloaded. To attach files you can do so in the library -> media area under the actual media items. The next option is create automatically, in which the store can try to create the file to be downloaded. This will only work if the original media is a jpg file. You can also select the option delivery manually to physically send the user the file yourself after the purchase. The last option is delivery original file, this will give the original uploaded media to the user after they purchase.
IMPORTANT:
If this is a resized photo being sold, the store will automatically generate the size based on the longest side of the photo (landscape or portrait). Just cause you entered a width and height doesn't mean the store will distort the photo and make it exactly that size, it will use the longest side only and then resize and keep the proportions correct.

Pricing
License: Use this drop down box to select how this profile will be sold.
Price: Use this input box to specify a price at which this profile should sell for.

Credits: Use this area to input the amount of credits it takes to purchase this item. This will only show if you have credits turned on in the manager.

Attach
Attachment: Use this drop down box to select how you wish to attach this profile to existing media in your store. Example you can assign this to just one gallery and the media in it. Or you can assign this to all media and galleries in your store.

Groups:
Use this area to group this digital profile with others. Once in a group you can then select an entire group when importing media instead of having to select one profile at a time.

Contributors
IMPORTANT: You will only see this tab if you have the contributors addon installed.
Contributor Selling: Put a check in this box if you wish to allow contributors to attach this profile to media they are selling through your site.
Commission Type: In this drop down box you can select the type of commission the contributor will earn from any sales of this profile.
Commission Value: (shown if type above is set to dollar value) This is to be set for the actual dollar value the commission will be when this item is sold for a contributor.
Commission Level: (shown if type above is set to percentage) This slider / text box can be adjusted to how much you would like a contributor to earn from a sale of this profile.

Advanced
Item Code: Use this box to enter an item code, this is for internal use only and only you will see this. This will not show on the store front anywhere.
Force Display: Put a check in this box if you wish for the profile to be ordered even if the media isn't large enough to be resized to the settings of this profile. Example if you upload a photo that is 800px large and the profile you have created is 1000px the store would have to size that 800px up to 1000px and the photo could look bad or pixelated. This isn't recommended to check if you wish for the store to create the size for you. However you can check this if you wish to sell larger items than what the original is, espeically videos since the store isn't capable of resizing video from an order. The order would have to manually filled at time of purchase.
Calculate Real Sizes: Put a check in this box to display the real sizes that this profile would create from the original media it is being sold under.
Watermark: You can select a watermark to be shown on this profile or not if the customer buys this profile and downloads it. This would be used in conjunction with auto create, so the store can watermark it during download after a customer makes a purchase.
Permission: You can use this area to assign who is able to purchase this profile. By default it is set to Everyone, but you can change that by clicking on the people icon and selecting, members, groups, or memberships.
