Settings > Currencies [Edit View]

If you are editing or creating a currency you will see some options to configure it. We will cover those below.

Currency Name: This is the name of the currency, example United States Dollar.
Currency Code: This is the 3 character iso code that represents your currency, example USD.
Denotation or Symbol: This is the dollar sign used for your currency, example $.
Decimal Separator: Use this drop down to select the decimal separator in this currency.
Thousand Separator: Use this drop down to select the thousand separator in this currency.
Decimal Places: How many decimal places is allowed for this currency.
Positive Currency Format: Use this drop down to show what a positive number would look like in this currency.
Negative Currency Format: Use this drop down to show what a negative number would look like in this currency.
Active: Put a check in this box to make this currency active. Uncheck it to deactivate it.
Default: Put a check in this box to make this the primary currency of the store. These can't be unchecked, they will automatically be unchecked if you set another currency as primary. You can only select one primary currency.
