Support, Installation, Upgrades
We strive to offer our customers the very best in customer service and product support. All of our products come with free one time installation, free upgrades for one year and 60 days of support*. We do however ask that all of our customers read what is included with our support, installation and upgrades service before purchasing and before contacting support. Please read below to find out more information.
INSTALLATION
All of our products include free 1 time installation and setup. We will install the software within 48 hours. Usually within 8 hours or less.
Make sure that your hosting company meets the minimum requirements for the product that you are purchasing before you make your purchase.
If your hosting does not meet the minimum requirements for the product you have purchased then installation will be halted until you can find other hosting or your current hosting can be updated to include the requirements for the software.
All hosting companies configure their servers differently so in rare cases there may be a delay in the setup of your software due to a debugging process for your hosting. This is rare and we have always been able to get the software working as long as the hosting meets the minimum requirements.
Your hosting (or server) must be ready for the installation at the time the service is rendered.
Free installation does NOT include:
- Future server changes, site upgrades or site moves
- Server configuration or setup
- Installation of PHP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin or any other server modules or scripts other than the ones included in the software
- Custom changes in the functionality or design of the software
- Fixing or reinstalling the software because of a change that your host had made
- Fixing or reinstalling the software because of a server crash
- Fixing or reinstalling the software because of a change that you have made to the source code
Free installation will not be offered to anyone that has not made a valid purchase thru Ktools.net.

SUPPORT
Free technical support is available for 60 days to all customers who abide by the license agreement. For those who have customized the product or have breached the license agreement then pay-per-service technical support is available.
Support is offered as a service and can be denied at any time for any reason.
All software that we sell includes only 60 days support. This includes support for helping you get your site “up and running” and answering any questions you have regarding general site/software operation or its features. It does not include help for modifying the code of our products.
You may purchase an additional 6 months of support at any time for $59.95/per 6 months. This support package extends the initial 60 days of free support. The support package will start after your initial 60 days of free support are up. All rules and conditions that apply to the 60 days free support also apply to this support package. Support is only offered during our hours of operation. Ktools.net may be closed on occasion due to holidays, limited staff, or personal matters.
Support does NOT include:
- Future server changes, site upgrades or site moves
- Fixes or help related to change made to the code
- Server configuration, setup or support (This includes support for email or other hosting related questions)
- Installation of PHP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin or any other server modules or scripts other than the ones included in the software
- Custom changes in the functionality or design of the software
- Custom design or programming services
- Fixing or reinstalling the software because of a change that your host had made
- Fixing or reinstalling the software because of a server crash
- Fixing or reinstalling the software because of a change that you have made to the source code
Ktools.net is not responsible and cannot offer support for additions or changes made to the source code of our software.
60 days free support is offered only to the domain name that the software is installed on and only the person who purchases the software from ktools.net and agrees to our license agreement. In the future if either of these changes then free support will no longer be available for the new domain or owner. The new owner will have to pay for tech support time from Ktools.net or choose to purchase the monthly support package. Contact us to purchase our monthly support package.
Troubleshooting a server or installation problem can be very time consuming and may not even be possible without the correct access to the site or server. Therefore we require that we are able to see the site at the time help is provided and that any type of server/hosting access requested will be provided. Otherwise we have the right to deny support until these qualifications are met.
UPGRADES
You will receive access to free upgrades for any software that you purchase from Ktools.net for 1 year. Example: If you purchase PhotoStore 2.x you will receive free upgrades for any PhotoStore updates made up to one year from your purchase date. This also includes new versions (example PhotoStore 3.x, 4.x, etc) as long as they are released within a year of your purchase date.
Upgrades after your 1 year free upgrades period will be priced from $9 to $95 each depending on the upgrade. Upgrades after your initial 1 year period can be purchased by Contacting us.
Free upgrades do NOT include:
- Installation of the updated files
- Server changes
- Server configuration, setup or support
- Installation of PHP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin or any other server modules or scripts other than the ones included in the software
- Custom changes in the functionality or design of the software
- Custom design or programming services
- Fixing or reinstalling the software because of a change that your host had made
- Fixing or reinstalling the software because of a server crash
- Fixing or reinstalling the software because of a change that you have made to the source code
Updates can be downloaded free of charge and installed by yourself. We do not offer free installation on upgrades. Upgrades may include many changes and may not work correctly if installed over another version of our software. They may need to be installed as a new copy or may require you to manually make changes to the database structure.
